Delivery from the Mattress World
Local Delivery from The Mattress World Home Delivery Team
We have a huge range of mattresses, beds and furniture in stock in our warehouse, ready for delivery. We deliver locally with our own fleet of vehicles to all postcodes within a 100 mile radius of our showroom in Clayton-le-Moors, Lancashire.
For BB postcodes (or those very close to us) we can usually deliver the same day or certainly within 24 hours.
You can also collect from our showroom or warehouse if you live locally.
Delivery From our Approved Couriers
We also deliver to most of the UK via our partner couriers. These deliveries are usually expedited within 3-7 working days. Delivery times are postcode dependant, some areas do not have a dedicated or scheduled/daily route so have to be specially co-ordinated and this may take a day or two longer than usual, however our home delivery team will keep you informed every step of the way.
For products in-stock (which most are) our couriers aim to collect the same day (cut off time is 2pm) or collect the next day. The goods are then sent to our local Hub to be transported overnight to a hub nearest to your postcode. The goods are then scheduled for local delivery.
This service takes between 3-7 working days.
Single mattresses in-stock are usually sent out by courier for next day delivery.
Rolled & Boxed mattresses in-stock are also sent on an overnight courier service.
Shipping costs do vary depending on the product(s), and once you get to checkout, your shipping costs will be applied (if applicable). At The Mattress World we do try to absorb as much of the handling and shipping costs as possible to pass on the savings to you, but obviously there are one or two unavoidable costs for bulkier items!
Sofas and Sofabeds - Delivery from 2 weeks to 6 weeks.
Sofas, Sofa beds and Separates from our Sofa Collections take longer than stock we hold in our local warehouse and some in our collection are made to order. We advise that you allow 4-6 weeks from confirmation of order, however we endeavour to get your items to you within 2-3 weeks and our home delivery team will keep you updated every step of the way.
Tracking & Courier Communication
Once you reach checkout, please enter a valid email address and/or mobile telephone number so our home delivery team can keep you up to date with the progress of your delivery and send you tracking information (where applicable) We respect your privacy and data protection rights and we will not share your email address or any other contact details with any third parties with the exception of our home delivery team or approved courier partners for the purpose of timed delivery.

To ensure your delivery goes as smoothly as possible, it is important you tell us about any restrictions our delivery drivers may incur, or other access issues. Our delivery teams will deliver items to the ground and first floor levels as standard, however, if you are beyond a first-floor delivery, please contact the team at Mattress World to discuss delivery options and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Delivered Directly from the Manufacturer
Most of our products are held in stock and are available for immediate delivery from our warehouse, however, some items are dispatched directly from other Manufacturers using their own delivery service. If you have ordered more than one item and one is a Direct from Manufacturer item, you will receive two separate deliveries, one from The Mattress World and one from the Manufacturer (via their own Delivery Service)
Again, our home delivery team will keep you informed throughout the delivery process.
